Online Group Voice Lessons with Natalie Fabian

Description: Classes focus on building a healthy vocal technique through vocal exercises and repertoire. Topics discussed will include posture, breathing, registration, diction, maintaining vocal health, finding expressivity and storytelling through your singing, musicianship, and developing a unique vocal style. Repertoire genres will be based on both the teacher's recommendation and students' interests and inspirations. One class weekly will be with the full class and the other will be broken up into small group lessons during the scheduled class time. Students will learn repertoire together in full class sessions and then receive individualized attention and feedback on their singing in small group work.

Number of Students: 6-8

Timing/Dates:
SESSION 1:
Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10-11:15 AM
Tuesday, July 5 to Thursday, July 28
Ages 7-10

SESSION 2:
Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10-11:15 AM
Tuesday, August 2 to Thursday, August 25
Ages 11-17

Location: Remote (Zoom)

Price:
$240 + $20 registration fee

Natalie Fabian is a music educator, soprano, pianist, and composer/arranger across varied musical styles. Natalie received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from Hofstra University and holds a Masters of Arts in Music & Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has performed as a vocal soloist on the New York stages of Birdland, The Metropolitan Room, and Rockwood Music Hall. Her choral arrangements and original compositions were featured at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, Broadway Presbyterian Church, the Miller Theatre at Columbia University, and Milbank Chapel at Columbia University. Currently, Natalie is an Adjunct Instructor at Hofstra University, directing the Vocal Jazz 20 Choir. In addition, she holds a studio in private voice, piano, and composition study for students of all ages and directs the Every Voice Youth Choir. www.nataliefabian.com
